A Heavy Heart

Today's post comes from Miss Carde's First Grade at The Heiskell School. This post made such an impact on me that I just had to share it with you. Please feel free to pass it along to whomever may need word of encouragement in these trying times.

It is impossible to hear of the great tragedy that has happened in our nation and not be incredibly impacted by it. As a teacher, my immediate thought was, "what would I do?" What would I do if I, like the first grade teacher at Sandy Hook, had been faced with such an unthinkable dilemma?

Our country has gone through many unexpected twists and turns this year. From the devastation of Hurricane Sandy to this most recent event, I find myself depending upon my Heavenly Father now more than ever. My heart goes out to the parents of the children who were not found at the fire station in Newtown. My heart goes out to the children who lost a friend, a teacher, a principal. My heart goes out to the family member who has lost a loved one. My heart goes out to the family of the shooter and to the members of the community. The pain they must be feeling at this very moment can only be described as- unimaginable.

I can only pray that at their weakest moment, their darkest hour, the light of Christ would shine forth...pure and true. I can only pray that His Word would penetrate the deepest recesses of their hearts, and heal the pain that cannot be expressed with mere words. My prayer is that the parents of the children who were lost would find comfort in the One who experienced the same pain thousands of years ago and that His hand, faithful and sure, would heal their broken hearts.

May His peace be a comfort to you now, this very hour, and in the years to come.

What makes addictions a sin? You are saying through your actions that God is not able to meet your needs. Your heart says: "God, I need a fix that You cannot supply. I will get it myself." Our comfort must be in God, not people, places or things. -Be In Health

He Knows You!

God knew every bit of who you would be way before you or your parents were conceived, before your grandparents were conceived, and before Adam and Eve. He knew you from the foundation of the world, and you were neither a mistake or accident. He is excited you are now alive on the earth so you can know Him and be known of Him. -Be In Health

Random Thought?

Trust is something that is hard to earn yet so easy to lose! Even the bible says that wherever your heart is there your treasure lies also (Matthew 6:21) . My question is what do you do if your heart has left present destination yet your body still resides in the same place? What do you do? Do you run after your heart which is known to be deceitfully wicked? OR do you rest and allow your heart to find it's way home?

Put It On The Altar!

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. -Proverbs 3:5&6

I know that you may be facing less than perfect times right now but know that God desires to be in total control! So why not release that thing into His care. Believe me, His resources to handle that thing in your life are far greater than your greatest idea on how to fix it yourself. Let God take of you & ALL of your situations! He finds SO much joy in doing so! He is your Heavenly Father that Loves & Accepts you just because!

The Dangers of Gossip

Gossip is comments about another behind the person's back. To receive gossip is to be part of it. Gossip is information that could be true, partially true or completely false. When someone wants to talk negatively about another person, don't listen! It is dangerous to your own spirituality.

Which One Are You?

You're either building up or you're tearing down.

You're either piercing others or you're covering their wounds with salve.

You're either making a person feel loved or you're making them feel rejected.

You're either representing God or you're representing the enemy of God in destruction.

Let's advance God's Kingdom today, not Satan's. Reach out and build up, cover wounds, and share the Love.

Take Responsibility For You!

Accusation against others may sound like this: "If you hadn't done this, I wouldn't be this way." "It's your fault I'm the way I am."

Today, take responsibility for your own life. At the end of your life you will stand before God and have to take account for *your* actions, not someone else's. Be found blameless.

Confession....

I am not the same person I was yesterday, and I will be an even different person tomorrow!
As I die to myself daily and grow downward in God's word allowing Him to nurture my spirit so that everyone I am connected to can reap the benefits of me loving myself through Him!
As I allow Him to mature me I am noticing so many thing just do not matter. I am realizing what I desired in life wasn't to glorify Him or to edify/strengthen the body, but it was to satisfy the soulish/selfish desires of my flesh. And in doing so instead of resisting the devil I was assisting the devil. Allowing myself to be used in my yester years to sow seeds of lust, manipulation, corruption, & division into the lives of many. And this all happened while I was saved!Sigh...its amazing how much of you you see when you allow God to strip you of you & replace you with more of Him!

What are your thoughts

So I was able to be in the midst of a topic discussion today & here is what was discussed:

Question: "If hurt people hurt people then when does the cycle of hurt end"? Also"How come when I was in the world I had alot of brothers holding me accountable"? They made sure I was consistently partaking in sexual activity, drinking the most dangerous alcohol, smoking the most toxic trees & yet now that I am saved & trying to live for God, there is no one available to make sure I am spending time with God daily, studying my scriptures, or avoiding sexual activities. There is no wonder why the church is losing all of the men to the world because either they are filled with a bunch of punks or hurts little boys portraying themselves to be men that just really dont have a clue! needless to say, I was speechless at the passion behind this individuals statement. Clearly they have been hurt themselves but I can relate to being saved & in need of help & finding none... What are your thoughts?

I ask for your forgiveness...

Be not decieved God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man soweth that shall He reap! There is So Much on my heart with no real outlet to share! My heart is in tears as my spirit reveals to me the choices that have to be made in my life. And as I meditate on when those things have to be done, I am often reminded of the seeds sown in my yester years. To all those who I have hurt/Injured in my past by way of words or actions I ask that you please forgive me. Also to All those from my past as recent as five minutes ago, I forgive you & release you as well! I Love You All!!!

Is There Blood on Your Hands?

Ezekiel 3:17-21(KJV)
17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.

18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

This is something that the Lord has laid heavily upon my heart. We call ourselves believers yet we DO NOT believe!

I was at work yesterday and I was extremely frustrated because there was an expectation from me to perform and I didn't know what it was and know one would tell me so I kept operating in error. Then I mean to do so? Of course not! It just happen that no one told me what was required of me so I just did what I thought was right. You know how dangerous that is? To lean unto my on understanding about how something that I have never done before is suppose to be done?

Hmm...I know what some of you are thinking. Why didn't I just ask what was required of me? I did but know one was willing to time the time to inform me. That is exactly what is going on in the body of Christ. We have people who are newly converted getting preyed on instead of prayed for by men & women in the church because they hold a position of leadership! Common sense right? Wrong, if NO ONE corrects them then they will be leaning unto their own understanding as to what they believe is acceptable!

Newly converted women do not know what it means to dress modestly. That is why we are suppose to have older women, mature in God's word, teaching these women. Instead the example they get are older women who desires to be just as attractive as they are! It is almost as if it is acceptable to wear short tight clothing that allows your body parts to speak louder than the witness that God has placed on the inside of you!

And what about the altar calls! Instead of celebrating souls we have come to searching for soul mates. Looking at every man & women that comes down to the altar and thinking to ourselves, " I wonder if he could be", or "Man!!! She is thick, I am going to have to see if I can find her after service and manipulate her into my pants...I mean welcome her to the church!"

There is a spirit of Jezebel running wild in the the church and no body wants to call it out!
(Watch These Messages When You Get a Chance To)

         Revelations 2:20-25(KJV)

19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.

20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
IS THERE BLOOD ON YOUR HANDS? We tend to shy away from correcting one another because of social status, politics, or position. But I ask you, how many time has God nudged you to speak to your brother or sister that was in error and you didn't?

It doesn't matter if they are an usher,  greeter, or even a pastor, if God laid it on your heart to speak to that individual then it is your responsibility to do so. Now the key phrase to that is, " If God laid it on your heart!" Because if God laid it on your heart I can almost guarantee that the correction will be received. It may not be freely received or come easy, but it will be received.

Another thing we have done is to cover up our sins by calling them issues. For instance, if a man has slept with half the congregation of women and all we do is say, just pray for him because he is just going through somethings trying to work out his is of lack of discipline. While I will agree that that man does lack discipline, I will also say that he doesn't have issues, He is a FORNICATOR that has yet to repent!

Well sir, uhm, we don't have sex we just masturbate!
You are a FORNICATOR!
Well sir, uhm I was never penetrated I just gave/received oral pleasures!
You're a SODOMITE! (definition:A person who engages in sodomy.) (definition of Sodomy: Sexual intercourse involving anal or oral copulation)
Or what about a woman who is always causing strife by spreading lies and rumors? She doesn't have low self esteem, well maybe she does, but she is also a GOSSIPER that has yet to repent! And why should they repent when there sin is not corrected. I have an equation for all of you math majors out there. E-C= D (Error minus Correction equals Destruction)!

I remember a time when I was caught up in sexual sin,(Side note: Sin is sin! There is no such thing as a greater sin. I am just choosing to focus on a sexual sin that I committed) no one had to tell me to sit down, I was in tears that I had sinned against God and voluntarily stepped down. but even in that there was no real correction or restoration process put into place by  my leaders that I can remember. Which could have proven to be damaging if I had not had the desire to get right before God and repent.

I is not to late for you you know! You can choose right now, today, to repent of your sins and completely walk away from them! That is just how powerful and loving a God you serve. You do not have to accept that lie that, "That's just how I am"! Because it's not! You are better than that! That is a lie the devil has gotten you to believe so that you will never have a desire to repent and receive correction. Sin is sin! Lust, fear, worry, doubt, gluttony, fornication, sodemy, breaking the law, lying, adultry, masturbation, gossip, etc. Sin is sin!

I beg up you, in the mighty name of JESUS CHRIST, to get right or die in your sins! Do not allow pride & ignorance keep you from living the free life that God has for you. Even the bible says in Hosea 4:6(KJV) My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. I challenge you today to get to the root of your sin. Ask God to help you because you wont be able to do it alone but according to Philippians 4:13, I (you) can do all things through Christ that strengthens me! I Love you all and I have given you the warning I believe the Lord has instructed me to give! Maybe you know someone who needs this more than you do. I encourage you to please pass it on. It's time to get right & remove all spots and wrinkles! Repent, and allow God's correction & healing to take place in your lives so that you can be a blessing to others, including yourself!

When Saying, "I LOVE YOU", Isn't Enough!

Since being here on earth I have been through many different seasons & gone through many transitions, as most of you have. I can remember a time when I was single and I could say whatever I wanted to say and people would look at me crazy...point their finger & judge me. Now that I am in a relationship I feel that sometimes I have to cap my words because people's human nature is to assume that whatever you are talking about, whether it be positive or negative, you are talking about that person or your relationship.

Well that is never the case unless I mention it to be. This is a title that the Lord gave me early this morning so I want to talk about it. The only thing is I want to do something different so I am going to write a poem. I don't know how it is going to turn out. I am just going to type whatever comes to me and end it when He says stop. Sigh...okay here goes

I can say that I love you,
but it is never enough
it's just a bandaide that covers a wound.
But to say that I love you is an expression of trust
to let you know that I want no one but you!

We use to walk together hand in hand
but know you're connected with another man!!!

I use to kiss you & hold you tight
but it's with that other woman you now spend the night.

You use to find comfort in the words that I speak.
But now it's your pastor's words that mean more to you than me
I'm confused!

Can things between you & I ever be the same.
As you consistently break my heart
& blame it on the way you were raised!

I LOVE YOU!
I DO!
But the pain is getting too strong!

Maybe the actions of my love
would be best expressed to let you move on...

and transition out of my life into being where you really desire to be
because although we've been together for years
physically you have never really been here with me..

Sigh...
I can say that I love you,
but it is never enough
it's just a bandaide that covers a wound.
but to say that I love you is an expression of trust
to let you know that I want no one but you!

There are so many men who lack discipline in their life.
Christian men wanting sex & getting it
by telling you that you're their wife.

To go from being single to engaged & then married
is a good transition.
But I ask you how good is that transition
when true love is really missing?

I can say that I love you and it not mean a thing.
I could say that I love you and it would not keep you
connected, faithfully, to me!

I can tell you I love you,
but the irony in that...
is that we tell everyone that we love them
 because it is a requirement.

I can say that I love you but would it be out of fear
knowing that if I never said I love you you would
no longer be near.

Men can say that I love you
but how true would their words be?
I know a few men who use those words because
by using them they know she'll never leave!

Woman can say that I love you
and it really bears some truth
Well...with the exception of those woman
who say it just to get with you.

I can say that I love you
and place my heart in your hands
and watch your actions show me the truth.

Will they show me your love is geninuely pure
or that I made a mistake in chosing to love you.

I can say that I love you,
but it is never enough
it's just a bandaide that covers a wound
but to say that I love you is an expression of trust
to let you know that I want no one but you!

I've cheated on you for years and yet you still
hold me closer than most!
the expression of your love for me is your son's blood
dripping from a pole.
Okay dripping from a tree because no one can truly love me
like you love me.
Believe me I have tried & I know that you have seen...

the way that I have behaved
emotionally dis engaged
from everything that is around me because I became enslaved...

To the fears of not being loved or maybe even dying alone.
God, I AM THAT PRODIGAL SON...
because it was me that has run away from home...
and into the arms of many strange flesh.
But what hurts me the most
is your desire to openly recieve me as if I never left!

I can say that I love you,
but it will never be enough
it's just a bandaide that covers a wound
that you gently peel away and open up
And shed upon them your tears
which cleanses & truly heals.
I am greatful for your love because what it says to me
is that you truly love me Lord, and it's just because its me.

NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS!

Men Cry Too...Even If It Is Silently!

I remember growing up in a single parent home. I was the first boy to be birthed into our family so I was a bit spoiled from both my mother & my father's side of the family.  Now I know a lot of people have these stereotypes about single parents and the kids that come from them. Well you see my mother graduated from high school at 16 and then graduated with from college with her Bachelors in Education at 19. That is when she had me! It wouldn't be long after that though that my father would leave me. Did he die? No, he just left.

That moment crushed me even though I was just between 2 & 4 years of age. I couldn't understand why this man that made these vows to my mother and assisted in creating me no longer wanted me. Needless to say that wouldn't be the only moment in history that I suffered hurt & pain.

I also remember a time when I was at my babysitter's house in Tremont Park and I was exposed to so much stuff. I was exposed to scary movies, sexual movies, and homosexual molestation.

I remember being about 6 or 7 at the time and my babysitters brother molesting me repeatedly. I was confused. I was angry! But most of all I was traumatized and afraid! I remember him having this HUGE dog that he would allow to charge at me enough to only get in my face but never bite me. That was his way of keeping me quiet!

As I grew older there would be many things that I didn't understand as a little boy transitioning into a young man! I never played catch or football. I grew up kind of quick. My molestation caused me to prematurely experience sexual acts with females at a young age and to not trust the men in my life because I wasn't sure if they would either leave me eventually or they would desire to do sexual things to me.

For years I tried to cover the hurt, the shame, & guilt from being molested while longing to fill the void of trying to find a father figure/mentor to help guide me in manhood. I can even recall certain pastors whose congregations I was apart of having a hidden hatred for me because either they assumed that I was trying to take over or they just didn't like me for reason I will never know. I remember knowing that God called me to minister to young people & singing and the pastor put me in a position that was completely against what God had called me to do! Side note: I am not putting anyone on blast, and I am going somewhere with this trust me. Let me please just finish telling MY story. There would be times when I really needed someone to talk to and NO ONE would be available until after I fell into sin! Then I didn't have to look for anyone, they all just APPEARED to say, "why didn't you come to me before this happened?"

To bring this all in. I have been crying since I was four years of age and even this very day I find myself crying. But Everyone looks at me as having it all together, when there is just this little boy inside him crying asking the question, "Daddy why did you leave me? " Was I not good enough?" What made you decide to start another family and take care of your other kids & leave me to fend for myself?" Why did you leave me unprotected?" " Why didn't you shield me from being hurt?" " You left me dad, and when you did, it was open season for the enemy to reign in my life?"

Dad, one thing I do want you to know though, is that I love you & I forgive you! Now I just have to learn how to forgive myself!

Maybe some of you are, or know of men who are, hurting and crying silently. Maybe you have been holding on to something that you were just either afraid or to ashamed to let go! I want you to know that I know just how you feel! I have done some things in the dark that have come out into the light! I too have learned and been taught some bad habits in my past. Even today I am reaping a harvest from seeds that have been sown in my yester years. I want to encourage you know that God knows everything that you are going through and that He cares! No longer do you have to hide your silent cries because He knows! Continue to trust in Him and ask Him to show you how to love Him & forgive others, as well as yourself! I love you all and have a phenomenal day!

Oh also when you get a chance check out these videos as well. they will bless you!

Will The Real You Come Forth!

The one skill in my life that I hate that I learned was how to act! It taught me how to recreate myself. It taught me how to conform to a role. It taught me how to make a fantasy more of a reality than life itself.

One good thing acting has taught me. It taught how to determine who is real and who is not. It helped me to see people for who they really are.

Yeah, I have entertained Manipulation while praising the Lord with Deception & Lies. They sat right in the same row I did at church. I even dated lust & flirted with temptation. But wait Youre a man of God? But which God are you serving? Are you serving your flesh as you have been scared from the molestation & rage that has surrounded you your entire life? Are you serving money as you race and prey on everyone you come in contact because you are trying to reach a goal that another is telling you that you need to reach?

Maybe you're high of your own bitterness as you lay up with regret & self hatred because you've gotten so use to being rejected that you are tired of being envious & jealous so you except the fact that people will never get to know the real you. And then the director yells CUT! Okay that is wrap! Great job everybody. Get some rest because we have a long day tomorrow... The only problem is you cant tell if you were acting or just reliving a moment.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. -Romans 12:2(KJV)

Do you know that God loves the you that HE created? You do know have to hide who He created you to be. He knows just who you are! He has always known.

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.-Jeremiah 1:5(KJV)

Okay maybe that version was too deep. Here's a simpler way of saying it:

Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. -Jeremiah 1:5(AMP)

WOW! God not only knew you but He approved of you and set you apart on purpose for a far greater purpose! I don't know about you but a praise would go...here! Don't be afraid of who God has created & called you to be! You were never designed to fight the battle with Sauls armor on David! God has unique designed your plan of action  in order for you to successfully complete your mission. And trust me, no one assignment is greater than the other for we are all One Body  with Many Different Parts! If the knee wasn't comfortable with being the knee then the feet, calf muscles, & toes would remain stagnate. In order for there to be forward motion in the body, everyone has to function as they were created to function not how someone else believes you should function!

I want you to do me a favor. When ever you get a chance I want you to look in the mirror and say, "I LOVE THE ME THAT YOU CREATED GOD", "I AM PRETTY AWESOME"! Because you are truly made in His image! I love you all! Have a PHENOMENAL DAY!

Whose Truth Are You Going To Believe?

Hello,

Today I find myself a bit torn as I wasted to talk about Ishmael & Isaac! The difference between a man made thing birth from not being patience verses a God sent promise. However, I believe the Lord is sending me in a different direction.

How many of you believe God's word to be true? Okay, how many of you allow for God's word to be the final say so in your life? For example, the doctor may say that you're dying from cancer & has the facts to back it up. But God's truth says iIsaiah 53:5(KJV), "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed". He also states in 3 John 1:2(KJV),"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth".

We have to learn how to settle our lives on the fact that God's word is Truth! God's word is life! And God's word should be the finally say so in lives whether you are dealing with your finances, your family, your career, or whatever. The facts may be screaming loud about every situation in your life and you may be feeling a bit overwhelm but I challenge you to see what God' word, God's truth, says about your situation and then let that be the final say so in whatever you are going through! I love you all and have a prosperous day!

Just Keep Swimming! (An Encouraging Word To Hold On To!)

Today, I am extremely excited because this is the first time that I am co writing a post with my fiance'. The original post all together was a post that she originally wrote for her class, however, with the guiding of the Holy Spirit I tailored it to be more relevant to you.( Side note: It is amazing how God would see fit to compliment you with the things & people you need when you need them. She is truly an asset to my life & I am grateful to our Heavenly Father that He would allow for me to experience His BEST!)

Okay, back to the inspiration...
"Just keep swimming..."

Today,  I sat thinking about what to post, I was reminded of a scene in the movie Finding Nemo.  Marlin, Nemo's father, is on a desperate search for his son and had just lost the last piece of evidence that had the potential to help him find Nemo. He was discouraged to say the least. It was at that point in time that "Dory", his special friend there to help him on his search, made a tremendously powerful statement...well, at least for a fish.

"When life gets you down, you know what you gotta do? ...just keep swimming."

I thought about the changes & challenges that we all face in our lives. Especially within the past few weeks. For many of you, it is your first time experiencing what you are going through! Whether it's a job, a relationship, trials, dealing with success, dealing with failure, or even having a baby, it is your first dealing with this particular season in your life. Now it is during this particular season in your life where frustration may try to rear its ugly head, eroding confidence. It is especially important to remind yourself to "just keep swimming."

It is a challenge we all face in our daily lives. Fighting whether we are good enough or if we will be accepted. How wonderful it is that even in your frustration God is at peace and is encouraging us to move forward regardless of the challenges. It is okay to remind yourself of what God has already done on your behalf, because it is those past victories that will encourage you, in this season, to "just keep swimming"!

God is so faithful to encourage us through His Word,

"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." Galatians 6:9

So, the next time you find yourself having had a challenging day, just remind yourself to "just keep swimming."

In What Are You Choosing To Believe?

What You Believe Determines What You Overcome.-Mike Murdock

You ever wonder why so many people never see God move in their lives or why they always experience more failure than they do success? Well, beside their being a spiritual root cause, it is because most people believe more in the possibilities of things going wrong than they do in things going right.

Have you ever been called into your bosses office and immediately thought, " Oh boy! This can't be good"! When in reality they called you in to compliment you on a job well done or to give you a promotion. Okay, need another example, okay I have one. Men,  and women, how about when your husband, or significant other says, " Baby, we need to talk". What do you immediately think? Do you think, Okay cool?" Or Do you think, sigh...here we go again, what did I do this time?"

The majority of people would pick the latter. Why is that. Why is that as believers we automatically gravitate towards the negative thoughts or emotions?  If you are sick and you are believing more in the sickness than you do in being healed from the sickness then guess what, you are likely to NEVER be healed! Likewise men & woman who always say that there are no good men or woman out there! I am good by myself. Guess what? Most likely you will NEVER find a mate and always be by yourself because you believe more in the negative than you do in the positive.

God's word even says, in Genesis 2:18, "It is not good that the man should be alone;I will make him a help meet for him"See that is the problem right there! We either don't know or don't believe God's word! It is not God's will for you to be sick! It is not God's will for you to be lonely! And it is definitely, men, not God's will for you to be unemployed and not work! In His original plan, He never intended for the female to give to the man. The female was given to the man to provide assistant, encouragement, & fulfillment!
The very way that we were created should show that it was God's original plan for man to give to a woman.  She is a help meet. Still can't see it. Okay, I, when I was created was given the ability to carry sperm (seed), but it will not be until God creates a help meet for me that I can give her my seed and she receives it and helps me to be fruitful and multiply! One MAN, One WOMAN! Not two women! Not Men! Not even One man & multiple women or on woman and multiple men. ONE WOMAN, ONE MAN!

It is also not God's will for you to be in debt! The bible says in  Romans 13:8, "Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. We really have to renew our minds so that we can start living how God intended for us to live. What does Hollywood, B.E.T., Your favorite  actor/actress, & your sports team all have in common? They are all temporary! The are consistently changing and fading away and yet people have more faith in them than they do in the one thing that never changes. The one person that is the same Yesterday, Today, & Forever more!  The One & Only True & Living God!

So I ask you, what are you, from this point on, going to choose to believe? It could be the deciding factor in whether you become free or remain in bondage!

Refuse To Worry!

Good Afternoon,
Today I want to share with you a message that was sent to me over 4 years ago. I find it to be so relevant for today. Enjoy & BE BLESSED!

Refuse to Worry

Today's Scripture
"Who of you by worrying can add a single minute to his life" (Matthew 6:27).

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria
God doesn't want you to live worried and anxious about anything. He knows that worry is counterproductive. It steals your peace and joy and affects every area of your life, even your sleep! Have you heard the saying, "Don't worry yourself sick?" Yes, worrying will actually make you physically ill. You won't ever gain anything by worrying, in fact it causes you to lose precious moments that you can never live again. The good news is, God has promised to bring you victory over worry. When you make the choice to put an end to worry, God will give you His peace.

Decide today to put an end to worry in your life. Don't feed worry by focusing on bad news all the time. Sure, we should be informed, but we should be most informed of the truth of the Word of God. Choose today to feed your faith and fill your heart and mind with God's promises. Declare everyday, "My God shall supply all my needs. He makes a way out of no way. He is a Restorer and Redeemer." As you focus on God's Word, you'll drive out worry and fill your heart with faith and expectancy. You'll be filled with hope and joy and move forward into the blessings God has in store for you.

A Prayer for Today
Heavenly Father, today I choose to put an end to worry in my life. I choose to feed my faith by studying in Your promises and declare your Word over my life. Help me to totally trust in You today and always. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. -Psalms 23:4

I find it fascinating that most people plan their vacations with better care than they plan their lives. Perhaps that is because escape is easier than change.

September 3, 2012 "Quote of the Day"

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. -Melody Beattie

Scripture For Today!

Isaiah 43:18-19 (KJV)

18Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. 19Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Isaiah 43:18-19(AMP)

18Do not [earnestly] remember the former things; neither consider the things of old.   19Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
