May 29, 2013 "Inspirational Quote of the Day"

“God uses broken things. It takes broken soil to produce a crop, broken clouds to give rain, broken grain to give bread, broken bread to give strength. It is the broken alabaster box that gives forth perfume. It is Peter, weeping bitterly, who returns to greater power than ever.”

Where Are You Going Now?

Today's inspiration comes from Billy Cox, Have an Incredibly blessed day!

Where Are You Going Now?
By Billy Cox
People with dreams and goals succeed because of one primary reason: They know where they're going.

In any game, you must determine what winning means to you -- you gotta define success and you also have to determine what it will take to win. Think about it: a marathon runner has to know where the finish line is and the path to get there to win the race. A runner must develop a winning strategy that includes proper training, nutrition, hydration, pace setting and overcoming race-day obstacles. A runner must also know when to attempt to overtake the other competitors to get in a position to win. Skiers must know where the finish line is and how fast they need to get there to develop a strategy for winning the race. Hockey players have to know where the goal is before they can navigate around their opponents, anticipate the other players' moves and get the puck past the goalie.

The same is true for you. You gotta know where you want to go and have a plan or strategy for how to get there. Otherwise, you could end up almost anywhere. The challenge for each of us is defining our destination. Each of us will have our own distinct definition of winning because we are unique in our individual dreams and aspirations. Knowing your destination makes the journey possible. This is how you measure results, keep score and determine whether you win the game. So, if you don't have any dreams or goals, how will you know if you are succeeding?

May 16, 2013 , " Inspiration For Today"

Today's inspirational Message comes from Be In Health:

The enemy loves to keep you in the dark. What does that mean? He loves to keep you in Fear, in Bitterness, in Envy and Jealousy and in Accusation so you are blinded and cannot see the truth.

He will lie to you with Fear so that you never make a move forward because you are gripped with the worst about what could happen.

He will keep you crippled with Bitterness so that you never experience the fullness of relationship that comes out of forgiveness.

He will keep you in Envy and Jealousy so you are so busy comparing yourself and in competition with others that you never are able to cultivate accepting friendships and the joy that comes from seeing someone else be blessed.

He will divide your relationships with Accusation to keep you constantly defensive so that you cannot see people and yourself through the eyes of God's compassion and love.

We have to be on guard and see the enemy for who he truly is, and ask God to give us eyes of discernment to see where the enemy is tricking us out of blessings. God promises that if any man lacks wisdom, to ask God who gives liberally and without reproach. Let's ask God for His wisdom to see things as they truly are!

May 15, 2013 "Inspiration For Today"

Today's Encouragement comes from Joel Olsteen:

He Prepares Your Path
Today's Scripture
“I will go before you and make the crooked places straight…” (Isaiah 45:2 NKJV)
Today's Word from Joel and Victoria
Do you ever feel like every time you try to move forward in something, you hit a roadblock? Something happens that throws you off course. Be encouraged today because right now in your life, God is going before you. He’s preparing a way. He’s making your crooked places straight. He’s making your rough places smooth. You may be going through a difficult time right now, but it’s not the end. It’s only the beginning. God has equipped you for this journey. You may feel like you’re in a dry season, but don’t look at your circumstances. Look at the promise of God today! If you’ll keep speaking words of faith, God promises that He’ll anoint your head with oil and your cup will run over. That means you’ll be refreshed and anointed to do what He’s called you to do. God is preparing your path and equipping you for the journey. What do you need today to keep moving forward? Start by checking your attitude. Don’t go around complaining and focused on the negative side of things. Put on an attitude of praise and thanksgiving. Thank Him for making your crooked places straight! As you do, you’ll move forward in joy and gladness in the blessed future He has prepared for you!
A Prayer for Today
Lord in heaven, thank You for Your goodness in my life. Thank You for preparing the path for my life and making my crooked places straight. Thank You for restoring my soul and life and for guiding me in everything I do. I submit every area of my life to You today. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Today from Be In Health

Do you know a youth age 13-17 who is struggling with something? Perhaps drugs, a parent's divorce, peer relationships, an eating disorder?

Maybe just a teen who is wanting to learn more about God? The ages of adolescence can be some of the toughest years, as youth are forming a foundation of who they are, and their bodies and minds are changing and growing up.

In June we are releasing a special class just for youth to equip them with tools so that they are more prepared for facing some of these struggles and working through them. You can find more information here: http://beinhealth.com/public/4MLYOverview

Yes! I'll Trust You Lord!

Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not unto thy own understanding but in all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your path.
-Proverbs 3: 5&6

I believe that sometimes life can just happen to a point where we get all tensed and say okay God I have had enough so I am going to take over. We allow our minds which is finite to try to comprehend the infinite mind of Christ Jesus. I know from personal experience I use to trust God with everything but my heart. I would allow him to have my life but when it came to my heart I was like no God you can't have that. How foolish is that? But when you understand that is a trick of the enemy to cause you to stay bound in your hurt you will learn to open up and allow Love to love out all the hurt, the pain, and the disappointments. And it may not be dealing with relationships it maybe dealing with betrayal and hurt received from friends, family member, a missed opportunity, but whatever it is I want you to know that God was then, still is, and will forever be greater than anything any of us are going through! Remember for God so love that He GAVE! But my question for you is will you trust Him enough to RECEIVE? Receive restoration from your pains! Receive your joy! Receive your identity which is in him and not what people have labeled you over the years! For God so loved the world that he GAVE!  All you have to do is receive it! I love you all! Have a wonderfully blessed day.

Do You Realize That You Are Loved By God?

But God commandeth his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
-Romans 5: 8

I want you to take time to listen to this video. If you can I want you to close your eyes and think about ALL that has ever happened to you and then I want you to think about how despite the disappointments from your natural father, husband, or loved ones; God's love for you & towards you is perfect. I love you all! May  God's love cover you like a warm blanket on a cold winter night. And yes, I love you! However there is a love FAR GREATER than my love and it is the love of our heavenly Father.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Happy Birthday To Me! Happy Birthday To Me! Okay, today isn't really my birthday. However, I did have the honor of celebrating 35 years of life on May 2nd. God as been good to me! So good that this year for my birthday, not only did I get to celebrate 35 years here on earth, but this was the first birthday I got to celebrate being married to by best friend. YES, I am a married man! PRAISE GOD! God allowed me to find my Proverbs 31!

What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
                                                                  -Mark 10:9(KJV)

You noticed that I said that God allowed  me to find her. That clears up a major error going on in today's society, whether secular or Christian. Ladies you are someones harvest so start praying for the seed sower. It is NOT your job to chase after a man...EVER! So you can stop going to all of your single events hoping to find a man because you are biblically out of order because you have placed yourself in the mode of the seeker instead of positioning yourself to be found..
Now I know you might be saying that, "I am positioning myself, that is why I attend single events and other church functions".

All I am saying if you start off chasing that man, do not get upset when all throughout the relationship with him, saying you catch him, is you chasing him. You are constantly chasing him down for time. Chasing him down for his attention. You will grow tired because what you did to get into that relationship you will have to do to maintain it.
The problem I have found that most people have is that instead of looking for "Character" a person who displays integrity, they look for a "character" someone who looks like or they believe would play the perfect part or fit the role of husband/wife in there life.

WOW! I just woke up this morning wanting to celebrate God, My wife, & 35 years of life and started talking about this. I believe it is important. A lot of you are dying because you are out of order. The sad thing about it is that you maybe out of order individually because of your submission to a church location who is out of order corporately and not even realize it! I pray for you!

I want to leave you with this scripture before I close. It is Matthew 6:33(KJV) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

So instead of focusing all of your attention on trying to be found by a man, get lost in the scriptures so you can find out how God sees you & learn your worth in Christ. That way you wont have to chase a man for validation because with Christ you are already validated!

Words Unspoken

Life & Death are in the power of the tongue so I urge you to be swift to listen and slow to speak        (proverbs 18:21 & James 1:19)

I look at you and wonder..
Are you a manifestation of my prayers
or a result of a curse?
Did I not let patience have it's perfect works?

I have sown many seeds
that have produced me a harvest
yet I remember the old man saying
to be ware of the harlot.

I have been punished for the sin I've caused
and  I just want all of it to end!
There many unspoken words to my book
yet those chapters I refuse to let be read.

I trust in the Lord with all of my heart
well not really because my heart it broken and shared.
And I've tried to relocate the pieces a couple of times
but every time I look the results come up bare.

How can you love your neighbor as you love yourself
when yourself you don't even love.
And how can you wash me down with the water of the word
when your well is all dried up?

These are words that go unspoken at the bottom of my heart
as I consistently stare into your eyes.
I hear what you are saying
when words from your lip
yet I understand more the words you wrote on those lines .

To everything there is a time and place under the sun
a time for hearts to be broken
a time for love to be won

A time for laughter...
A time for pain ...
A time for forgiveness and the removal of shame.

A time to confess the pain in your heart.

A time to hold on and a time to depart.

A time to come to grip with the mistakes that you've made

A time to decided to never make those mistakes again.

When I look at you and wonder..
Are you a manifestation of my prayers
or a result of a curse?
Did I not let patience have it's perfect works?

I have sown many seeds
that have produced me a harvest
yet I remember the old man saying
to be ware of the harlot.

May 3, 2013 "Quote of the Day"

The pursuit of happiness is a matter of choice...it is a positive attitude we choose to express. It is not a gift delivered to our door each morning, nor does it come through the window. And it is certain that our circumstances are not the things that make us joyful. If we wait for them to get just right, we will never laugh again.”

Do You Appreciate What You Have?

Often times we get caught up in waiting for others to celebrate us when in reality over 2000 years ago Christ celebrated us at the cross. It was Him who died for our sins even though He knew that the people who He was dying for would still be of a selfish nature only thinking about themselves.

Hmm...I wonder how many of you can relate to this story right now. Despite all that has been done for you, you still selfishly & with greed desire more to be done. Have you even taken the time to be thankful for what has been provided for you.

I often think about teenagers when I think of this logic. I mean, hey, I use to be one. I remember times when whatever was done was never enough and I always wanted more. The difference between me and most people however is that I poured out a lot so I expected to receive a lot. Even that screams "A Sense of Entitlement" and that's not right!

I have a challenge for you today. I challenge you to stop what you are doing right now and tell someone, "Thank You"! Maybe you are an employee that needs to thank your boss for hiring you. Maybe you are an employer that needs to say thank your employee for showing such great improvement. Maybe you are a husband who has been enslaving your wife and you never took the time to appreciate her and say, "Thank You Baby for Everything  You Do, I really APPRECIATE IT"! Then take her out to dinner, shopping,or whatever her favorite pass time is.

Now wives, you are not off the hook! That man loves you with EVERY breath in  his body and you have not even taken the time to appreciate that man for being a good man! For coming home every night, for helping you out without asking any questions. And what do your SINGLE girlfriends say..."He is a man, that is what
He suppose to do" and that is why they are still single. Stop letting the outside influences of lust, gossip, envy, & jealous to run your home which was built off of love, trust , & respect.

I can go on for days about that one however, I will sum of this thought with this. The enemy, you adversary is seeking whom he may devour. So I urge you all to take time to appreciate what God has given you because if you do not appreciate what you have while it is here, then you have no right to be upset if you notice that from a far that someone else, gladly, did for them what you though was a tedious task.

Remember tomorrow is not promise to us so take no thought for it. Stop living as if you have time to get things right and learn to live in a state of APPRECIATION & THANKS GIVING!

Love You All! Be Blessed!

May 1, 2013 Daily Inspiration

Good Morning,

Today's inspiration comes from Be In Health:

Did you know that abuse is a cycle that comes out of an Unloving Spirit? When you have been abused by someone verbally, spiritually, physically or emotionally, there is an Unloving spirit that is causing them to abuse you as well as an Unloving spirit that joins you and will cause you to feel the pain of self-rejection, self-hatred, Self-Pity, and self-introspection.

How do we defeat an Unloving spirit so we don't go into the patterns that we were programmed to have through the abuse? We have to take on the mind of Christ and renew our thinking. Instead of believing old thought patterns that say that we are not loved and influence you to hate yourself and others, we have to believe that we are accepted and beloved by God. You can believe that whether anyone else backs it up or not!

If you would like to learn more about how to defeat these patterns of thinking from you to your generations as well as more about how Unloving can impact different areas of your life and how to overcome thoughts of self-hatred, self-rejection and self-pity, check out our teaching conferences for adults, youth and children here:http://beinhealth.com/public/FMLOverview
