Who Are You Trusting?

Proverbs 3:5-75Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  6In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

In our desire to be more like Christ, we sometimes forget the actual life of Christ. The journey from life to death to life. We sometime get caught up in Christ Resurrection and not want to deal with the death and the burial. That's where I believe we stumble into conflict because before there can be a Resurrection, there has to first be a death followed by a burial.

I was conversing with a dear friend of mine  a while back and we were talking about broken hearts. And she stated, "how can you love God with all of your heart if it's broken"? So I ask you, how can you celebrate the Resurrection of Christ without acknowledging the death and the burial?

Need a better example? Okay, look into your life for a second. How many times, in your own understanding have you celebrated the Resurrection of a promise before you died and buried the things that were hindering you from receiving it?
Trust in the Lord with ALL you heart and lean NOT UNTO YOUR OWN understanding, but in ALL THY WAYS acknowledge Him as He shall direct thy paths. And we all just stop there. but what about the next verse? Be NOT wise in thine OWN eyes: FEAR the Lord, and Depart from evil. And just for clarity the type of fear described in this particular text is Respect/Reverence.

Have a great day and I love you all!!!!!

Trust In God!

Proverbs 3: 5&6, Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not unto thy own understanding but in all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your path.

I believe that sometimes life can just happen to a point where we get all tensed and say okay God I have had enough so I am going to take over. We allow our minds which is finite to try to comprehend the infinite mind of Christ Jesus. I know from personal experience I use to trust God with everything but my heart. I would allow him to have my life but when it came to my heart I was like no God you can't have that. How foolish is that?
But when you understand that is a trick of the enemy to cause you to stay bound in your hurt you will learn to open up and allow Love to love out all the hurt, the pain, shame, bitterness, envy, jealousy, and the disappointments. And it may not be dealing with relationships it maybe dealing with betrayal and hurt received from friends, family member, a missed opportunity, but whatever it is I want you to know that God was then, still is, and will forever be greater than anything any of us are going through! Remember for God so love that He GAVE!

My question for you is will you trust Him enough to RECEIVE? Receive restoration from your pains! Receive your joy! Receive your identity which is in him and not what people have labeled you over the years! For God so loved the world that he GAVE!  All you have to do is
receive it! I love you all! Have a wonderfully blessed day.

Hand Crafted By God

Good Morning everyone!

I know I have missed a few days with doing this devotional. for that I apologize to each and every one of you. However today the only thing I have to say is Love the you that God designed! I read a quote that said, "In a world where you can be anything you want to be, the best thing you can do is be yourself". There is a reason the father created you the way you are!  Even in your most flawed state you are still fearfully and wonderfully made! So if no one else every let you know how valuable you are then let I will. I appreciate each and every one of you and it is that uniqueness that only you possess that draws others to you. So stop comparing yourself to others and except the  fact that you are not mass production of a product but you have been personally hand crafted by the father to stand out. You are an ORIGINAL! And that makes your value, Priceless!

I love you all and have a great day!

Break The Silence

Romans 8:28, “ And we know that ALL things are working together for the good of them who love the Lord and are the called according to His purpose
.Good Morning Everyone,
Today I want you to take time out of your busy schedule to ask a co-worker your boss, or just a random individual the simple question, How are you really doing today. And then wait for a response and actually listen when they are speaking. So many times we are so busy and consumed with ourselves that we fail to realize those around us.
What would have happened if someone was too busy to share the gospel with you? Or, what if Jesus was too busy to die on the cross for our sins? There is a reason that you are going through what you are currently going through. Some of you still have inner turmoil because you refuse to cast ALL your cares upon Him. Trust me, I am speaking to myself as well.  There is a scripture in the bible that says to love thy neighbor as thy self! Now let me ask you a question, If we never speak to, offer to assist, or even acknowledge our neighbor, then how much do we really Love our self let alone God. To ignore his people is not good.
I  remember being in a relationship some years ago and I was in the wrong. The young lady at that time said nothing. She was completely silent! That killed me more than if she would have just said  SOMETHING!  And that’s what is happening to God’s people. They are dying because we as Christians are walking around being Silent! Claiming to be unashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ yet we gossip & tear down more than we create and build up!
Daughters and sons of the most high God. And we know that all things are working together for the good of them that Love the Lord to whom are the called according to His purpose. Let’s make that a selfless scripture instead of a selfish one. All things! Everything whether it be good or bad is working out for the good of THEM (everyone who will benefit from you going through it) who love the Lord and who are the called( for many are called but few are chosen) according to His Purpose ( It was never about you) . So I challenge each and everyone of you to take it to the next level and BREAK THE SILENCE!

What Are You Allowing Yourself to be Taught?

Okay, There is a lot I want to say to you this morning, however I am listening to voice of the Holy Spirit as I write to make sure it is more of Him and less of me. My studies this month have been coming out of the book of II Timothy. Now fro those of you who do not know that this is the Apostle Paul's second letter to Timothy from prison. To sum up the theme of this particular book would be to say that it was a warning from Paul to Timothy to be on alert for wrong teachings and to cling to the truth.

What are you allowing yourself to be taught? This is very important question that we as believers need to ask ourselves on a consistent basis because it is important that we be aware of the type of teachings that we are receiving into our spirits. Job said in the sixth chapter & twenty-fourth verse, "Teach me, and I will hold my tongue: and cause me to understand wherein I have erred. David said in Psalms 24:5, 4 Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths. 5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

The definition of "Teach" is to show or explain to (someone) how to do something. Synonyms to the word are instruct-train-educate-school-
tutor.

What are you talking about Stancil? Okay lets make this real practical. Because Honestly at first I was like okay Lord we can tell them to be careful of what preachers they are listening to etc, but in reality most people barely listen to preachers anyway. However there are a lot of teachers in their lives that are leading them astray. Such teachers as the Media.

The Media is an institution that house many instructors with classes that are leading the people of God astray and ultimately to Hell. First instructor that is misleading believers, and pretty much everyone who sits under it's teaching is porn. Porn teaches you that it is okay to have sex with multiple people by creating fantasy situations that causes the believer to suffer from insecurities, self hate, lust, and low self esteem simply because they may not measure up to the size of the guy/women in the video or feel a false sense of denial because their girlfriend/boyfriend never did that! Which most often leads to masturbation and other perversions. Why? Because every time you sit at a computer or turn on the television to watch porn you are sitting in a class being taught/instructed on sin. And any good student who learns something new always desires to teach or share with someone else what they learned and depending on the willingness, or resistance, of the individual that they are desiring to teach can lead to molestation, rape, or even murder. What Are You allowing Yourself to be taught?

Jumping to music and Television, have you ever notice how you feel after listening to certain songs. Okay so you wake up in the morning you are getting ready for work and you get in your car and turn on the radio. For about 30minutes to an hour you are in another class being instructed, the question is, What are you allowing yourself to be taught? Are you listening to gossip shows, or music that completely contradicts what our heavenly father has raised us up on? Music that instructs you on how to hate, be bitter & angry.
Listening to morning shows that instruct you on how to be envious and jealous of what others have and you do not.Listening to music that tells you its okay for you to be called everything but a child of God. What Are You Allowing Yourself to Be Taught? And now your morning quote...

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.-Romans 12:2(KJV)
