Performance will lead you into a fabricated personality. It will tell you that you have to perform to someone's standards, other than God's, to be accepted and loved.
God only wants you to be who you are. He created you with a specific and unique purpose and personality. You are accountable to God to be who He created you to be - He created you to fulfill something only you were created to do, and the world and the Body of Christ needs you to be that person too!
If you recognize where there may be an area of your life where you are being driven to perform, lets ask God if that Performance may have been feeding into a personality that isn't even you! We can live in the freedom of being who God created us to be!
